Q: How long does it take to put up your marquees?
A: This depends on what size you go for and what you want inside the marquee? The Hever 6x6m generally takes between 90 mins & 2 hours, the Folkestone 6x12m generally takes between 3 to 4 hours and the 6x18m marquee can take anything between 4 to 6 hours. The Oriental Pagoda & Walkway generally take about 45mins to assemble.
Q: What size of marquee is best suited to my event?
A: It is very important to choose the right size marquee to suit your event, too many people crammed into a small space is both uncomfortable and unsafe and too large a space will make your event seem under populated.
Q: How long is the marquee hire period?
A: The hire period is by arrangement and can be suited to your needs.

Q: Are your marquees safe?
A: Absolutely! all our marquees are framed clearspan . Our marquees and linings meet or exceed the relevant British Standard.
Q: Can the sides of your marquees be opened during warm weather?
A: Yes, the walls of our marquees work in a similar way to your curtains at home and are very easy to open and close. We can demonstrate this on the day of erection.
Q: Do we need heaters or are your marquees warm enough?
A: Even in the height of summer evenings can be a little chilly paticuarly after 9pm so it is a good idea to budget for one.
Q: What day will you erect / dismantle the marquee?
A: Marquees are usually erected Wednesday to Friday and dismantled Monday to Wednesday. Please let us know if there are any special requirements when booking your marquee.
Q: Are marquees suitable for winter events?
A: Marquees are suitable throughout the year. In winter marquees can be heated.
Q: Will the marquee damage the grass?
A: There will be no permanent damage. The grass that is covered may fade in color slightly but should quickly recover.
Q: What is the difference between lined and unlined marquees?
A: Lined marquees are suited to most events and where an aesthetic finish is required. With an unlined marquee, the framework is visible from the inside.
Q: Will you come and look at the site for the marquee?
A: Yes. Prior to erection the site will be surveyed to ensure that all unique site requirements and constraints have been identified.
Q: How far in advance should I book my marquee?
A: If you are concerned about availability please give our office a call as soon as possible. Please note marquees tend to be reserved early for the peak Summer period. It is not unusal for people to book a marquee 2 years in advance!
